Der NLC Down – Shock Dragster ist weitgehend so aufgebaut wie der Bolt-On-Umbau für HD / V-Rod. Dennoch haben wir noch einen draufgesetzt und den Heckrahmen komplett geändert um eine tiefe Sitzposition zu erreichen. Diese Rahmenmodifikation wird allerdings nur im Hause durchgeführt, da auch die Elektrik bzw. Elektronik geändert werden muss. Sie haben die Möglichkeit das komplette Fahrzeug bei uns modifizieren zu lassen oder enfach nur den Rahmen mit Motor und Kabelbaum zu uns zu schicken.

Durch die tiefe Sitzposition erhalten sie ein besseres Fahrgefühl, da sie nicht auf dem Bike sonder nim Bike sitzen. Auch der Schwerpunkt ändert sich und das Fahrzeug wird um einiges handlicher als beim Serienrahmen. Ausgestattet ist dieser Kit mit einer Airride-Luftfederung, die in der Höhe und Federhärte verstellbar ist. Beim Tankvolumen müssen sie allerdings Abstriche machen, denn das Tankvolumen reduziert sich auf 11 Liter.

Mit der Down – Shock “Dragster" - Variante sind wir in der Lage große Radreifen-Kombinationen zu fahren, die weltweit einzigartig für HD / V-Rod sind, z.B. 10 x 20 mit 280/40-20 oder 9,0 x 21 mit 260/35-21.

Es stehen 5 Design-Varianten zur Auswahl:

4. Einarm Schwinge “MONZA“

Bis Baujahr 06 müssen die unteren Rahmenträger modifiziert werden.

Most of the NLC Down-Shock Dragster is identical to the bOLT-oN CONVERSION FOR HD/V-Rod. However, to up the ante we completely changed the rear frame to achieve a low sitting position. But this modification of the frame we do in our workshop, only, as it also requires modification of electrics resp. electronics. You may choose between the complete bike having modified by us or simply send us the frame including engine and wiring harness. The low sitting position improves the quality of riding pleasure as you do not sit on the bike but in the bike. Also the centre of gravity is changed and the handling of the bike is far better than with the standard frame. This kit includes air-ride suspension, adjustable in height and spring rate however, with regard to capacity of the tank you have to lower your sights as it is reduced to about 11 litres.

The Down-shock "Dragster" version allows to drive big wheel-tire combinations, one of a kind for HD/V-Rod all over the world. E.g. 10x20 with 280/40-20 or 9,0x21 with 260/35-21. All models till 2006 require a modified bottom girder
